There was great excitement in 6^th class with the arrival of Up in the Air author and former Tipperary hurling star Paddy Stapleton on Tuesday. The children are reading Up in the Air as part of our Great Scoil Eoin Reading Challenge. Paddy spoke to them about the writing process, the creation of characters, editing and the many stages of writing a book. He also spoke of the value of perseverance and commitment in life. He very kindly answered a range of questions on writing, his hurling career and secondary school.
