The Great Scoil Eoin Reading Challenge takes place from Halloween to Christmas. We have set a target of 2021 books to be read to get Tweedledee to the top of the Reading Tree. The school has invested in a range of new books for each class. We’ve already got a word of encouragement from Ryan Tubridy on his radio show and Una Healy sent us a video encouraging everyone to get reading. Author Paddy Stapleton is visiting 6^th class who are reading his book Up in the Air.  We are having a Christmas Story Reading evening for infants and 1^st class via Zoom with each child getting a lovely Christmas Book. We’ll have a special day of celebration where everyone can dress up as their favourite character from a book.
