Last year as a school we set a target of achieving an overall attendance rate of above 90%. I am delighted to report that we exceeded the target with attendance of 90.8%. This year our target will be to go above 91%. It is really important that children are in school every day and absent only when absolutely necessary. All absences should be explained using Aladdin Connect. Aladdin will automatically inform you by text if your child is absent for 10 days and again at 20 days. The school is obliged to inform the Education & Welfare Board of all pupils who are absent for 20 days or more.

Every school day counts. Let us all work together to ensure we meet our attendance target this year.
