Scoil Eoin Naofa is a DEIS Band 1 primary school under the patronage of the Bishop of Killaloe. We are located on the Golden Grove Road in Roscrea, Co. Tipperary.
With a current enrolment of 161 pupils, we have 8 mainstream classes from junior infants to sixth class. We also have an Early Intervention ASD Pre-school class called Tus Maith. We have an administrative principal, eight class teachers, five special education teachers and six special needs assistants.
As a DEIS school, we benefit from a preferential pupil teacher ratio and have access to the Home School Community Liaison Scheme and the School Completion Programme. Our HSCL coordinator is a resource to support parents in being active participants in their child’s education while SCP supports children to get the most from their education.
We operate an excellent Book Rental scheme supplying all school books, copies, and all other necessary materials. Our School Meals programme provides every child with a hot lunch each day.

As a school we value all members of the school community and our relationships are founded on the values of tolerance, respect, and inclusion. We are an inclusive school where everyone’s contribution is affirmed and valued. We hold a school assembly each week where we highlight our talents and achievement is
celebrated.
We participate in a range of extra-curricular activities including quizzes, art competitions, concerts, and fundraising for worthy causes. We actively take part in a range of sports including hurling, camogie, gaelic football, ladies’ football, soccer, tennis, and rugby. We organise a variety of educational tours each year.
